We are currently using Autocad Compages 2011 to draw basic floor plans using the wall, door commands inside the Pattern - Tool Palette.
As the toll of Compages is so expensive, information technology has been suggested that we could use Autocad LT to practise this...just does this take the wall and door tool palettes to enable the states to do this ?
Thanks for any aid.

There is nothing comparable to ACA from Autodesk unless yous desire to move up to REVIT. AutoCAD and LT draw lines, INSERT blocks, and have TRIM, Join and EXTEND commands to simulate walls and door insertions.
Download the free 30-day trial of LT (and any other software you may exist considering) and notice out in-house what your options and abilities are: promise that helps.
